Big things are happening worldwide around Laudato Si’ in the wake of the Pope’s call for us all to “care for our common home”. Here in Brisbane Archdiocese, a small group of clergy, inspired by the Brisbane Catholic Bushwalking Club (60 plus years and still going strong) take regular walks in nature during some of their rare downtime. On World Earth Day 2022 (April 22) they reflect on the landmark Papal Encyclical, and try to integrate it with the peace and beauty they find in the bush.
