A Mass as well as a number of special Ecumenical services to remember the victims of the tsunami will be held over the coming weeks:

CATHOLIC MASS at ROSALIE

The Indonesian Catholic Community will host their usual Sunday Mass at Sacred Heart Church, Rosalie ( 358 Given Terrace, Rosalie) in honour of the victims of the tsunami on Sunday 16 January. The Mass will commence at 4.30pm and will be in English. The community invite all who wish to join them on this day.

ECUMENICAL SERVICE at St JOHN’S CATHEDRAL

Queensland Churches Together is also planning an ecumenical service in St John’s Anglican Cathedral, 373 Ann Street, (between Wickham St and Wharf St), commencing at 3.00pm on Sunday 16 January. Everyone is invited to attend.

MULTI-FAITH PRAYER SERVICE at GRIFFITH UNIVERSITY’S NATHAN CAMPUS

The Multi-Faith Centre at Griffith University (Nathan Campus) is holding a prayer service with contributions from various faith communities
on Wednesday 19 January at 7:00 PM. All are welcome.

Afterwards there will be a discussion to consider forming a group that could look at ways of coordinating ongoing concern for tsunami sufferers, going beyond the immediate relief effort of our various groups.
