Duchesne College is a residential college for women, located within The University of Queensland. It was established in 1937 to serve the needs of young women from rural and regional Queensland, and has subsequently provided a home for thousands of highly successful students. Life at Duchesne College is guided by the ethos of The Society of the Sacred Heart.
This role is responsible for the core offering of Duchesne: exemplary and holistic support to our 200+ students, encompassing academic excellence, spiritual growth, and mental and physical wellbeing.
Together with the Head of College, the Director - Student Experience strives to ensure that Duchesne provides a rich, supportive and vibrant environment for this community of young scholars.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Student services and support
- Student management
- Student Leadership Team liaison
The Director - Student Experience also works alongside the Head of College in marketing and promotion of the College.
We are seeking a dynamic, high performing professional with a track record in empowering young people. To succeed in this challenging but hugely rewarding role, you will also need to be a proven team player with superior management and administration skills.
