Centacare Brisbane run stand alone Government-funded kindergartens within South East Queensland, offering local children the opportunity to enrol in a Queensland Government-approved early learning program. Centacare has partnered with the Queensland Catholic Education Commission (QCEC) to oversee the running of the centres.
The kindergartens have been opened as part of the Government’s ‘Kindy Counts’ initiative which aims to make kindergarten programs more widely accessible to families in the region.
All of the centres have been ergonomically designed meaning all equipment and resources have been created especially for kindergartners.
The centres are run by early childhood qualified teachers who adhere to learning guidelines aligned with the national Early Years Learning Framework.
