A farewell chat with Bishop Ken Howell

Bishop Ken Howell is due to be installed as the new Bishop of the Toowoomba Catholic Diocese on July 11. He has been in the Archdiocese of Brisbane for forty years and has become a familiar face to many of us. Before leaving as Auxiliary Bishop and Vicar General, he took the time to reflect and give thanks for the many blessings that he has had in the Archdiocese of Brisbane.

Bishop Howell has asked for people of Toowoomba diocese to pray for him as he prepares for his installation. “Your prayer will be my greatest support,” he said. “May our blessed Mother, Our Lady of the Southern Cross, pray for us all.”
