As a former Army Officer and now a Deacon, Gary Stone knows full well the value and importance of an Army Chaplain. Thanks to the Brisbane Archdiocesan Archives he was recently given the opportunity to compare the modern day Chaplaincy kit with a World War II era kit carried into the field at Papua New Guinea’s Milne Bay by the late Brisbane Archdiocesan priest Fr John (Jack) Rosenskjar. On this ANZAC Day, lest we forget those who have served, and those who are still serving our nation in the Australian Defence Force. We salute the sacrifice both they and their families have made for us all.
