Celebrate the joy of Easter with us as Michael Mangan leads Year 4-6 students in singing his original song, “Easter Alleluia,” proclaiming the glorious truth that our Saviour Jesus Christ is alive! This song of praise calls us to rejoice in the Resurrection, not only on Easter Sunday but throughout the fifty days of the Easter season and beyond. Hi, this is Michael Mangan coming to you from my home parish, All Saints at Albany Creek. Happy Easter! We’ve had the most marvelous three days of celebrations for the greatest feast in the Church. And we celebrate that right through the Pentecost for another fifty days. We are going to sing one of my songs for you today as an Easter celebration. It’s called ‘Easter Alleluia! Jesus is alive.’ I originally wrote it for schools, and so I thought it would be great if we had some children help me lead it today. So I have with me today children from years four to six at All Saints Parish School here at Albany Creek. I hope you enjoy it, and I hope it gives you some Easter energy for the next fifty days and beyond.
