Sr Teresa Lau’s 60 years in religious life exemplify her profound commitment to living out God’s call with the Sisters of St Paul de Chartres Australia. Her journey highlights the grace and courage required to say “yes” to God repeatedly, even amidst challenges. This mirrors the scriptural calls of figures like Mary and Peter, who responded wholeheartedly to God’s invitation despite feelings of unworthiness. May we remember God’s call is always an initiative of love, inviting us to respond with love and self-giving.

Sr Teresa Lau here again. A vocation is a call from God, and our answer is a response. It is not easy, and needs a lot of courage and faith and prayer. So nobody is worthy, but God’s graces goes there. He send the call, He invites the call and He also provides the graces to respond to that call. For us our part is to pray, to trust, and continue to pray and ask God’s blessing for the graces, and the blessings, and the perseverance to answer the call. In the world there’s so many things that can distract us, but if we trust that God calls us we’re privileged to have been chosen that He’s given us the grace and we need lots of courage. So we need to pray for that grace to be able to respond gracefully, faithfully. So pray, and pray, and pray, for the graces.
