ABC News 24 is covering the Papal inauguration Mass, live from St Peter’s Square, tonight (March 19) from 6:30pm – 8:30pm Brisbane time.

Jane Hutcheon will be presenting the coverage, which includes commentary from the studio from Fr Brian Lucas (General Secretary of the Australian Catholic Bishops’ Conference) and Mr Jack DeGroot (Chief Executive Officer of Caritas).

Viewers need a high definition digital television or set-top box to receive ABC News 24. ABC News 24 should be located on channel 24. If it doesn’t appear automatically, try to restore the factory, or default, settings on your digital equipment and do a rescan, instructions should be in your manual.

If you are watching through Foxtel IQ2 it will be channel 202 and if you subscribe through Austar, it will be channel 24.

Optus viewers will not be able to access ABC News 24, as their service does not offer HD.
