Hello my name is Shane Pianta and I am a second year seminarian at Holy Spirit Seminary. The Feast of the Holy Family invites us to contemplate the home of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph. In their daily life in Nazareth, the Holy Family reveals God’s plan for love, unity and holiness within family life. These examples encourage all families to grow in faith, patience, forgiveness, and mutual care. On this feast, we ask God to bless our home and to guide us to reflect the love that shone so brightly in the household of Nazareth. Please join me in prayer.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Heavenly Father, on this Feast of the Holy Family, we turn our hearts to the home of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph. A home filled with faith, obedience, and tender love. Bless our families, O Lord. Strengthen the bonds that unite us, heal the wounds that divide us, and teach us to cherish one another with patience, compassion and joy. May the example of the Holy Family guide our thoughts, our words, and our actions. Like Mary, may we listen with openness; like Joseph, may we act with courage and humility; like Jesus, may we grow in wisdom, grace, and love. Protect our homes from all harm, fill them with Your peace, and make them places where Your presence is felt and Your will is joyfully lived. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Thank you for praying with us today, we hope to see you again soon.
