One of the things that Christmas does to me is I come from a polish Catholic background and we have a whole pile of rituals that happen starting with the first day of Advent as we mark things on calendars and do polish things. Which I don’t do anymore, but I remember them. And this is what progresses through the month, I remember these things and it makes me happy to think that my parents cared enough to give this to me. And when I came to Australia I really missed Christmas with my family because it was a very big event. And my wife and then eventually my daughters wound up celebrating Christmas with me. And so I’m looking forward to it!

Well, I think we you see your children, and we see the grandchildren, we’ve got three girls, two on one side and one on the other. And, you know, we like to see them. We see them more often at Christmas obviously.

I have not seen a community health place as good as this here. We we laugh, we have fun, we enjoy one another and the people, they actually they laugh and they get us going and they look after you. That’s another big thing, that they, the whole lot of them, really look after you.

Coming to this place is just wonderful, you know, it’s uplifting. And we enjoy coming and I think talking to the other people, they enjoy it as well, you know, it’s just talking to other different people and yeah we enjoy it.

Well I never would have met Kerren and, you know, people that you like to have a good conversation. We’ve all got walks of life that we’ve come at different angles and that and it’s so interesting. And then it just makes it when you come here with the staff they’re just wonderful people, they’re sincere. That’s joy to me.
