God’s people Media releases Youth Ministry to come alive at ACU McAuley Campus

Brisbane’s Youth and Children’s Ministry Team are again providing a smorgasbord of ideas for youth ministry workers at the ACU McAuley Campus at Banyo on Saturday February 11.

This annual event is an opportunity for anyone involved in ministry with children or young people to gather for a day of formation, prayer, networking and quality workshops.

This year’s program maintains its reputation for interest and currency with a variety of differing streams dedicated to either youth or children’s ministry, or sometimes both.

Topics covered will include creative ideas for the RE Classroom, how God is depicted in pop culture, creating and using multimedia in youth ministry, developing young leaders and pastoral care of young people.

The presenters have all accumulated a significant track record in youth and children’s ministry and enjoy the opportunity to help impart their knowledge, inspire newcomers or reinvigorate peers in the field.

Anne-Frawley Mangan, who among her many hats teaches speech and communication at the Holy Spirit Seminary, will be the keynote speaker and break open the theme for the day “Who do you say I am?”.

Around 200 ‘workers in the vineyard’ have already registered.

Whether you are a teacher, campus minister, youth ministry coordinator or parish volunteer this is one event that you cannot afford to miss!
