Spending time in hospital – whether it be overnight or for a longer period of time – can be an overwhelming and worrying experience. We work with people in the community to support the spiritual and health care needs of those in hospital, through our hospital pastoral care team.
Centacare
For someone in hospital, a visit from a pastoral carer can be an opportunity to make sense of things and talk through what they’re feeling and experiencing with someone who will listen without judgement. Centacare pastoral carers are located in hospitals across South East Queensland.
