The annual Rite of Election

The annual Rite of Election is a joyful occasion in which priests and deacons stand with the other baptised faithful from parishes across the Archdiocese of Brisbane, in order to support the Catechumens.

It is the penultimate stage of the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA).

This is what the church is born for – the welcoming of new believers onto the threshold of baptism, which will occur on Easter Sunday.

If you or anyone you know would like to become a Catholic please contact your local parish.
