Bishop Tom Wright’s Brisbane seminars available on CD

A very successful ecumenical event, featuring the Anglican Bishop Tom Wright of Durham in the United Kingdom, was held at Marymac Community Centre in Brisbane on March 31 and April 1.

Bishop Wright is acclaimed as one of the foremost New Testament scholars in the world today and has over 50 published titles. He has written extensively about the writings of St. Paul.

It was one of a number of speaking engagements the Bishop had around Australia, taking in Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra and Adelaide. The two Brisbane seminars were the result of the invitation of Archbishop John Bathersby, the Catholic Archbishop of Brisbane.

Audio from the two Brisbane seminars was recorded and the resources (in the form of a set of CD’s) are available.

The seminar held on Friday 31 March was titled “Jesus’ Mission” while the seminar on Saturday 1 April addressed “Christian Mission in a Post Modern World”.

The cost of the 4 CD set for either day is $30 each (which includes GST, postage and handling). The complete set costs $48 (which includes GST, postage and handling). If ordering specific resources please be aware of the content covered on relevant days.
