The Archdiocese farewelled its former shepherd in a bittersweet Solemn Funeral Mass on Tuesday March 16. The liturgy modelled well Archbishop Bathersby’s own code “not to lose sight of Christ” in the midst of many tears shed whilst commending him to the Lord.
