Internationally acclaimed singer, songwriter and youth minister Steve Angrisano is returning to Brisbane archdiocese this May after a successful national tour in 2012.
Steve facilitated music workshops and featured at Vivid 2012, connecting with the young and young at heart from across the archdiocese through his music and powerful story telling.
Many who attended the events were inspired and moved by Steve’s passionate, joyful, humble and authentic witness of his faith and the archdiocese’s youth and children’s ministry team are excited to have him back.
One who was particularly inspired was Brisbane singer-songwriter, Joey Hizon.
“Steve Angrisano really inspired me during his last visit,” Joey said.
“As a musician myself, I was blown away by the way he sang, his guitar skills and how he led people to worship.
“I found him extremely humble and very funny. He has this massive heart for Jesus and leading people closer to Him.
“He was very entertaining and the whole experience with Steve was just so much fun.
“I am really excited for his return this May and look forward to hearing him speak and sing.”
There will be a number of opportunities to experience Steve’s inspiring witness and ministry while he is here in Brisbane, including music and liturgy workshops at Albany Creek and Sunnybank, a twilight retreat at Jindalee and a ministry workshop at Paddington.
He will also be at the Mass and launch of the Archbishop’s Pastoral Message to Young People at Albany Creek.
His visit will end with the Set Free Concert at Brisbane Powerhouse on May 13.
Steve is excited about returning to Brisbane and said in a video message to Brisbane, “I can’t wait to see you there. You show, I’ll show”.
