Parishes across the Archdiocese gathered for ANZAC Day Mass commemorations, which fell on the fourth Sunday of Easter and Good Shepherd Sunday. Parishes gave thanks for the dedication and selflessness of so many who have given their lives to the service of our Country. There were a number of state and federal dignitaries that gathered across the Parishes, as well as representatives past and present from the nation’s defence services.
Archbishop Mark gave thanks in his homily at the Cathedral of St Stephen and shared the story of World War I ardent supporter Rudyard Kipling here.
Lest we forget.
