The Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ celebrates Christ’s real presence in the Eucharist. Thousands of faithful from across the Archdiocese of Brisbane gathered at the Cathedral of St Stephen before processing through Brisbane City in a public witness of faith and devotion. The procession, led for the first time by Archbishop Shane Mackinlay, reflected the rich diversity of our local Church, united around Christ in the Blessed Sacrament. Through this public witness of faith, we are reminded that Christ walks with his people and continues to form us as a community of communion, hope and service.
