Safeguarding National Redress Scheme

The National Redress Scheme for people who have experienced institutional child sexual abuse has been created in response to recommendations by the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse.

The Scheme is run by the Australian Government and helps individuals who were sexually abused as children to access counselling, a direct personal response, and a Redress payment.

The Archdiocese of Brisbane participates in the National Redress Scheme.
