Service times for Second Sunday of Easter (Divine Mercy Sunday)


(I) Mary Immaculate Church, 616 Ipswich Road, Annerley

3:00pm – Divine Mercy Chaplet, followed by a Blessing of Divine Mercy Images and religious objects and a talk about the link between Divine Mercy, Fatima and Saint John Paul II.
3:45pm-4:45pm – Silent Adoration and Benediction with reflection provided from the Diaries of St Faustina
5:00pm – Mass for the Feast of Divine Mercy

(II) Holy Trinity Church, 352 St Vincent’s Road, Banyo
1.00pm Divine Mercy devotions

(III) St Patrick’s Church, 24 Tobruk Street, Beenleigh

The program consists of:
2:30 pm Exposition
3:00pm Chaplet of Divine Mercy Adoration & confession.
4:30pm Holy Mass

(IV) Our Lady of Victories Church, 29 Cintra Rd, Bowen Hills
1.00pm – 3.00pm Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and Rosary;
opportunity for Confession; Veneration of a relic of St Faustina
3.00pm Chaplet of Divine Mercy
3.15pm Benediction and Holy Mass

(V) Holy Spirit Church, 102 Sparkes Rd, Bray Park

Reconciliation available from 12:30pm
(All to be assembled in the church by 1:25pm)
1:30pm Procession & Rosary

2:30pm Benediction
2:50pm Chaplet of Divine Mercy
3:00pm Three O’ Clock Prayer Mass
At the end of Mass, veneration of the Image of Divine Mercy will take place.
Sacred objects will also be blessed after Mass.

Following the Mass there will be fellowship and supper.

In St Mark’s School Undercover Area from 11.00am to 5.00pm the Samoan Divine Mercy Group will be hosting fellowship and lunch for all the Samoan Divine Mercy Groups in Brisbane.

The Vietnamese Community Centre will also be having celebrations too.
